3D Printing Turn Ideas into Reality

Your idea as 3D print

A fast and economical production of various objects – 3D printing makes it possible. In the meantime, production with the 3D printer has numerous areas of application in industry and business. In addition, 3D printing technology also offers individuals the opportunity to turn their ideas into a finished product. The numerous 3D printing templates on the Internet offer a smorgasbord of inspiration for useful, fun or simply beautiful objects from the 3D printer, from household items to decorations to toys.

Do you have a product idea that you would like to put into practice as a 3D model or directly as a printed product? But you lack the technical means and know-how? Then you have come to the right place!

We breathe life into your ideas – from 3D design to finished 3D printing. Whether it’s a single part, a whole assembly or a prototype: With our expertise, we support you in the realization of your product idea – quickly and reliably for optimal results.

Even if you already have existing plans and need a new 3D design or you want to develop a prototype for a series production, we are the right contact for you.

We work with different CAD software like Solidworks, FreeCAD, Onshape or OpenSCAD and different materials.

This is what you can expect when you order a 3D print model or a finished 3D print from us.

3D Design: Have 3D printed models created

1.submission of your idea

Send us a sketch of your product idea. The drawing does not have to be perfect – the most important thing here is an indication of the relevant dimensions. If you do not feel confident enough to make a sketch, you are also welcome to send us a written description of the dimensions or interface dimensions.

It may look something like this:

The part should fit a 10 mm diameter pipe on one side. On the other hand, it should fit into a tube with an inner diameter of 20 mm.

Or simply make an appointment with us for a phone meeting or live meeting where we will take the relevant measurements.

Do you have specific requirements for the 3D model, such as a particular file type or a specific purpose you want the 3D modeling to serve (e.g. rendering)? Tell us everything we need to know for the implementation of your idea, which is exactly what you want. From this we derive all necessary additional expenses.

2.our offer for you

We will provide you with a transparent, detailed offer with our services for you and all costs incurred.

3.Ordering the 3D design

After you have commissioned us to create your 3D model, we will make all the preparations to implement your idea as a 3D design and discuss further details with you as needed.

4.creation and delivery of your 3D model

We then create a 3D model for you, tailored to your ideas, in a CAD program for the 3D print slicer. We provide you with the 3D model as the desired 3D print file, .obj or .stl by default.

Now you can work with your own 3D model just the way you want it!

3D redesign: new model creation for an existing product

1.Submission of the existing product or product model

Send us the existing model of your product for editing. Alternatively, by prior arrangement, you can send us the product itself – we also accept defective parts – or submit a photo of the product with the dimensions drawn in relevant places or an attached description of the dimensions.

FDM 3D Printing

We also create prototypes for you using the FDM process.

1.Submission of your model

Send us your own 3D model. We then check its printability. If a model is not yet available, feel free to request a new 3D design or 3D redesign from us.

You tell us the desired requirements for 3D printing – we put your wishes into practice in terms of layer accuracy, print dimensions, filling, color and material use.

We will provide you with a transparent, detailed offer with our services for you and all costs incurred.

3.Ordering the 3D redesign

After you have commissioned us to create a prototype, we make all the preparations for the implementation of your idea as a 3D redesign and discuss further details with you as required.

4.slicing and 3D printing

This is followed by slicing and 3D printing of the ordered parts.

We will be happy to send you the finished parts or make them available for collection from our premises.

Now you can test your own 3D prototype or show it to your clients. After reviewing and testing the prototype, you can order additional 3D designs and 3D prints from us at any time based on the findings.

How we create your 3D print

1.preparation of your 3D print in CAD program

First, we design a 3D model in a CAD program for the 3D printing slicer. For this purpose, there are both free variants, such as FreeCAD and Blender, and paid programs, such as SolidWorks. Then we export the geometry.

We then load the file into a suitable slicer program. For this purpose there are programs like Prusa-Slicer or Cura. Calculations will then take place there with the following settings:

  • Material selection
  • Temperature
  • Percentage filling of the printout
  • Layer height
  • Additional edge settings for a better hold
  • Fine tuning in expert mode (for supports, nozzle, fan, extruder speed, etc.)

In this way, we enable implementation tailored to your 3D printing ideas.

2.print preparation with PrusaSlicer 2.3.0

We use PrusaSlicer 2.3.0 to make necessary adjustments to your 3D model to prepare it for printing.

  1. Positioning of the 3D model on the printing plate
  2. Setting the layer height (the lower the resolution, the more accurate the surface)
  3. Filament material selection: we often use materials such as PLA, PETG and ABS
  4. Selection of the printer and generation of the printer code, the so-called G-code
  5. Adding support material (in case of overhangs).
  6. Defining the percentage of filling (for more density, weight reduction, stability and light effects).
  7. Adding edge (e.g. for small adhesion area or large print heights)
  8. Rotating and scaling the object in object editing
  9. Slicing the 3D model and rewriting it into G-code

3.creation and optimization of the slicer file

In the next step we calculate the slicer file for 3D printing and check the individual layers . We then observe the influence on the printing time and material requirements.

If necessary, the CAD object is reworked to optimize the resolution or the print time and to avoid threading.

4.final process: the 3D printing

Once all the preparatory measures and important settings have been made, it’s time to print out the 3D printing idea. We will select a high quality filament for it, which will match your color requirements.

Now the time has finally come: your idea arrives as a finished, real product fresh from the 3D printer.
