ABIOLA RASP – Raspberries for African School Projects
The non-profit gGbmH ABIOLA is looking for committed and experienced Raspberry Pi users / students. This involves an internship / bachelor thesis or, if necessary, freelance work within the framework of the RASP project. So far, ABIOLA has already donated over 1000 solar systems to Africa. In the future, additionally Raspberry Pi single-board computer to be donated to schools in Africa. The company is also developing a computer system with its own solar power supply. On the one hand, this solution should equip as many students as possible with devices. On the other hand, it has to be adapted to the conditions in the African countries. Apart from that, the power supply can be guaranteed with the help of ABIOLA solar systems.
The managing director Mr. Köhler reports to ABIOLA RASP reports:
“To make it easier for African teachers and students to get started, we are setting up a database with many interesting tips for using the Raspberry PCs. Several editors are already working on this project and are already creating the first articles. We need professional support for the RASP project for coordination and optimization. Gladly in our business premises or via home office. ”
